We want you to be completely satisfied with PayslipMate. If you're not happy with your purchase, we're here to help. Please read our refund policy below, and don't hesitate to contact us with any questions. This policy complies with Australian Consumer Law.
1. Free Payslip
Your first payslip is completely free -- no payment required. This allows you to test our service and ensure it meets your needs before purchasing additional payslips. No refund is applicable for free payslips.
2. Digital Products (Downloaded Payslips)
Because payslips are digital products that are delivered immediately upon generation:
- Downloaded payslips are generally non-refundable as the product has been fully delivered
- If you made an error in your payslip, you can correct it and generate a new one using your remaining credits
- We may issue refunds at our discretion for legitimate technical issues
3. When We Will Issue Refunds
We will issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:
Eligible for Refund
- Technical Issues: If our system malfunctions and you cannot access your purchased payslips
- Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same order
- Unused Credits: If you purchased credits but have not used them (within 30 days)
- Service Unavailability: If you cannot use the service due to issues on our end
- Australian Consumer Law: Where required under the Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantee provisions
Not Eligible for Refund
- Payslips that have been downloaded (digital delivery completed)
- User error in entering information (you can regenerate with correct info)
- Change of mind after generating payslips
- Requests made more than 30 days after purchase
- Violation of our Terms of Service
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our support team with:
- Your order number or transaction ID
- The email address used for the purchase
- A description of the issue
- Any relevant screenshots (for technical issues)

5. Refund Processing Time
- We will review your refund request within 2-3 business days
- If approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method in AUD
- Credit card refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
- You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
6. Credit Packs & Bundles
If you purchased a credit pack or bundle:
- Unused credits: Full refund available within 30 days of purchase
- Partially used credits: Prorated refund may be issued at our discretion
- Fully used credits: No refund available (products delivered)
7. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback with your credit card company, please contact us first. We are happy to resolve any issues quickly. Chargebacks for legitimate purchases may result in account suspension.
